What changed, and how versions work.

  • One API for every app at api.<domain>/v1: mail, calendar, contacts, ZiloDrive, people, ZiloInvoice, ZiloInventory, ZiloHR, ZiloCRM, ZiloProjects, ZiloDesk, approvals.
  • Sign in with ZiloOne for apps anyone can connect: API permissions, refresh tokens (rotated, reuse detected), consent, Connected apps.
  • Personal tokens; organisation keys act as a person, with expiry and IP lists.
  • Mail changes feed with long polling; drafts; replies threaded.
  • Idempotency-Key, ETag/If-Match, rate-limit headers, request ids, one error shape.
  • Approvals answer 202; approval.requested and approval.decided webhooks.
  • OpenAPI 3.1 at /openapi.json.

How versions work#

v1 only grows: new endpoints, new fields in answers, new optional fields in requests. Ignore fields you don't know. Anything that would break an app gets a new version, and the old one stays at least 12 months, marked with a Deprecation header first.
